Frequently Asked Questions

Giclée printing is a high-quality method of reproducing original artwork using specialised inkjet printers. Instead of standard inks, it uses archival pigment-based inks sprayed in very fine droplets onto fine art paper. This allows for extremely detailed images, rich colours, and smooth gradients that closely match the original artwork. It creates museum-quality prints that last a long time without fading for over a century if properly cared for. These prints are premium, long-lasting, highly accurate art reproductions.

Showering in the dark comes in two sizes, 90 x 75cm (35 x 29 ½”), which is the exact size of the original painting, and 60 x 50 cm (23 ½ x 19 ½”), which is two thirds the size of the original work.
These dimensions refer to the size of the printed image . Each print has an additional white border of about 2cm. This is for handling and framing purposes and can be trimmed by a framer if you so wish.
