zed BOOKs AND AWAITING PRESS

Kika Sroka-Miller has over fifteen years of board-level experience in UK Publishing. They posses a comprehensive understanding of publishing globally. At Zed Books they gained experience of leading multiple large-scale, business development projects, including transitioning the list to digital product, launching a global d2c platform, rebranding the publishing house, launching Zed Scholar library collections and delivering a cross-organisational data system that led to Bloomsbury PLC citing Zed’s metadata as the best they’d seen across their acquisition projects.

Before being appointed Managing Director at Zed Books and leading the organisation through its sale and transition to Bloomsbury, Sroka-Miller was responsible for both Editorial Direction and Art Direction at the publishing house for over a decade.

Sroka-Miller is Founder and Director of Awaiting Press which represents the literary estate of Assata Shakur.
